after work

hurray i have my computer back! the video card melted but circut city fixed it and now it's home again. :)

work update. since checks bounced and creditors are calling we've cut hours. we are now open M-Th 6-2, Fri 6-9, and Sat 7-2. So i now have a whopping 10 hours a week :( sucks to be me. although anothe employee has worse availability and has no hours. sucks worse to be him.

pray that we get more business and are able to keep the customers we already had.

ok, i'm super bored. i've cleaned tons but don't feel like doing more since my work check was returned and then rent bounced... Why am i still here? sigh. I need a different job, any ideas? pray for me. please.

So on a lighter note, i organized a Rock Band competetion last night at the Flying Dutchman Coffee Co. and it was a success! We didn't have a TON of people show up but enough for me to bring in half the day's revenue. We only had two "bands" show up. one was my friend George and his crew, although they brought the TV, playstation and instruments. the second was a group of boys from the Monte Vista H.S. youth group. they were amazing! they played on expert (the highest level) and got at least 90% on every song they played. it was awesome to watch. i sang some and it was an overall good time. i now know how to do it better (faster, stonger lol) next time.

i should have taken pictures... mmm, another thing to add to the next time list.

So I was behind a truck on the freeway on the way to work earlier. It was a company truck, DJ's Carpet and their slogan was "We do it on the floor" Wow, our society loves the innuendo...

JJ Heller

So lately i've been listening to JJ Heller all the time! i love her. her songs are so beautiful and so emotional. they keep me calm and in a good mood when i drive (i do have a tendancy toward the road rage sometimes). i have been in such a better state all around too. here are a few i love:

Naruto

So Thomas and I got a new beta fish. He was only like two dollars so we couldn't resist. At TND (Tuesday Night Dinner) earlier tonight one of our friends (Jaeson) named him, Naruto

So Thomas (my husband) and i are looking at houses to buy and this one has come along. Here are some pics, in no particular order. It's a super cute house: all new paint, carpet, roof. the carpet needs to be stretched though. It sits on .21 acres, so the backyard is huge.

there is a four plex barrio on one side so that is a bit of a downer...

so yeah, that's kinda it. i think we are going to make an offer, but we're not sure if we're going to get it.
