It's that times again

thats right it almost christmas and my birthday! here are some ideas if you need them:

Nuts in a shell and Hughson Coffee Co

So to sum up workness in a nut shell, i loved interviewing with Chipotle but it just didn't feel right and Bev Mo was super rude! So i'm staying at the coffee shop which is now Hughson Coffee Co and am hopefully geting a pay raise. We just hired 5 new people and after we get them all trained (after next week) then we'll extend the hours and start rolling in the dough :) here are some pics of the shop with it's semi new decor.

So Thomas, Darren, Chelsie and I went to see Matt Nathanson last night at the State Theater in Modesto and it was so fun! He was amazing, he is not only a singer/songwriter but an entertainer. He was sooooooooo good!

i will do almost anything to go to another one of his concerts. it was such a blast!

Hi Ho Hi Ho it's off to work i go

So as most of you know (well all of the one person that i know of that reads my blog) work hasn't been going so well for me. The FD was flailing (much like failing but with crazy arms) and my hours has been severly cut back. Well in a bitter sweet decision the land lord has taken over the shop and is making drastic much needed changes. Although since i have like no hours i have yet to see said changes but and looking forward to while i host rock band tonight.

and on a stranger note i had applied to a few places since the shop wasn't doing so hot and no one had called me back except Chipotle but they couldn't hire me because they are slow too. well yesterday i got a call from Bev Mo have have an interview this coming wednesday. my only reservation is that i think they are only hiring seasonal employees so i don't want to leave the FD for a seasonal job... what do i do?

So it's one of those rare times that i am excited for my period. you may wonder about my reasoning... well i am (was) 8 days late. yup pretty scary. i'm never late. and add that to the fact i stoped taking my birth control (i'm a much happier, nicer to be around person now) three months ago and voiala! fear of a bun in the oven. 1 pee stick and some serious thought later i am bleeding like a stuck pig and oh so happy about it.

hurray i have my computer back! the video card melted but circut city fixed it and now it's home again. :)

work update. since checks bounced and creditors are calling we've cut hours. we are now open M-Th 6-2, Fri 6-9, and Sat 7-2. So i now have a whopping 10 hours a week :( sucks to be me. although anothe employee has worse availability and has no hours. sucks worse to be him.

pray that we get more business and are able to keep the customers we already had.
